Honors Roommate Request
Incoming first-year Honors students who plan to reside on campus may also request an Honors roommate--but are not required to do so. Students who choose this option will submit an application to our office and be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to Cobb Residence Hall. In the case of high demand, assignments may also be made to the Olde Campus Lower Quad Community (includes Aycock, Graham, Everett, Stacy, and Lewis) and/or the Olde Campus Upper Quad Community (includes Mangum, Grimes, Ruffin, and Manly). The Honors Program will recommend matches based on your preferences and provide this information to the Department of Housing and Residential Education. The Connected Learning Program
The Connected Learning Program provides unique opportunities for students to shape their own learning outside of the traditional classroom, to make connections across disciplines, to excel in their individual interests, and to collaborate with fellow undergraduates and faculty on projects designed to enlarge their intellectual lives. The Connected Learning Program is open to all students who are eager for a self-directed, "build-your-own" experience. The Connected Learning Program at Cobb Residence Hall is a joint project of the James M. Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence and Housing & Residential Education. |
